Situated to the north of the Catalan capital of Barcelona, Playa de Aro is a coastal town which has about 10,000 inhabitants throughout the year. It only takes around 80 minutes by car to reach Barcelona's city centre with its many bars, shops and restaurants, so the location is ideally suited to people seeking a relaxed way of life with good, local shops but where you are never too far away from the action.
